This aspect is not just about what you should or shouldn’t eat, but more about how to improve on what you’re already doing. There is no fad diet here, just reframing your relationship with food and nutrition. We will map out your goals (healthy eating versus weight loss) and create recipes that you will want over and over again. Nothing will change overnight, and changing your nutrition takes time and effort and we start that process reevaluating your grocery lists and food preferences. You will get education about how to best take care of and fuel your body
Sleep is one of the most overlooked pieces of fitness and wellness. On average, we should be getting 8 to 10 hours of sleep, but most of get half that! Together, we will uncover the best ways for you to maximize your sleep, focusing first on assessing your sleep environment, i.e. your bedroom, and then we will come up with nighttime routines that fit those needs. We will also explore how you feel throughout the day and use that information so that you can feel the best you possibly could
Whether you think you can, or cannot, you are right! Moving our bodies requires a focused and motivated mind first. So, not only will we focus on increasing physical exercise, but we will find unique, fun, and stimulating ways to get moving throughout the day. We will assess what your currently capable of doing and find measurable, reasonable, and appropriate goals to expand your range of motion. You’ll be so impressed when you realize how much you CAN do!

This part of my service is not traditional psychotherapy however my hope is that through all the other pillars, your overall mental and emotional wellness will improve as well. Together we will assess what your stressors are and on how you typically handle stress and difficult feelings. I will then be able to provide support through nutrition, sleep hygiene, movement, and exercise. Doing all these things with intention will make a huge difference in your overall health and wellness. Let’s get you feeling happy again!
Our body goes through many stresses throughout the day and learning ways to recover from those stressors is key in overall wellness. We will learn proper way to recover from working out, assessing the best amount of resting time between work outs, and how to take proper time in between physical activities in general. Going through nutritional and physical changes is also a stress too! We are exhausting our bodies while we go through changes, and it is important to spent intentional time in recovery and regeneration.
