Ingredients

  • 2.5lbs kale or collard greens, washed and cut into small pieces

  • 1 cup carrot matchsticks

  • 1.5lb smoked turkey leg or wing

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 1 large red pepper diced

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons white or apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons Lawry’s season salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 24 ounces chicken broth

Preparation

Add all the ingredients to a crockpot and set to low temperature (high if you would like to cook it faster).


Cook until leaves are nice and tender, about 6 hours.
