Ingredients
2.5lbs kale or collard greens, washed and cut into small pieces
1 cup carrot matchsticks
1.5lb smoked turkey leg or wing
1 medium onion chopped
1 large red pepper diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons white or apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Lawry’s season salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
24 ounces chicken broth
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a crockpot and set to low temperature (high if you would like to cook it faster).
Cook until leaves are nice and tender, about 6 hours.
